Trip meeting information 05.18.12

For those of who were unable to have a representative attend the trip meeting last night I will try to summerize what information was given out.

First, NO MATTER WHAT DECISION ANYONE MAKES, WHEN (NOT IF), WE ARE ABLE TO RECOVER MONEY ALREADY PAID TO THE TRAVEL COMPANY EVEYONE WILL GET THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT (minus fund raising money).

We will not know the status of next years’ trip until probably August/September.  I’m hoping by June but that is a lot to accomplish in the next month. IF we are able to recover our paid funds there is a chance we might go to Hawaii in June of 2013 BUT it would take recovering the entire amount.  WE ARE TAKING A TRIP NEXT YEAR we are still working on details from several avenues.  The incoming freshman or current high school students who were not going to Hawaii would be eligible to attend.

HERE IS WHAT I NEED TO KNOW: Do you want your money that we still have in the bank refunded NOW or leave it in the bank and wait and see what we are able to work out concerning the trip for next year? IF you leave it in the bank and decide later you don’t want to participate you may take it out as a refund then.  IF you take it out now and decide later you want to go on the trip then of course you will have to make up the difference.

THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS SHOULD BE BRINGING HOME A FORM TO FILL OUT IF YOU WERE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THE MEETING LAST NIGHT.  I hope all of this makes sense.
