January trip payment

Good morning,

This is just a gentle reminder that the next trip payment is this coming Friday, January 27, 2012.  The payment amount is $100 per month now through April.  Reminder to chaperones and spectators: you might want to divide up your remaining balance owed over the next 4 months to “spread out the pain” so it does not hit you all at once at the end.  FOR EVERYONE: Start setting back some cash for your luggage as well as meals and/or spending money.

Please send in your payment Friday in an envelope.  WE STILL HAVE CANDY TO GET RID OF TO HELP ON THIS MONTHS PAYMENT.  We need all overdue money on candy sales turned in this Friday as well.

Booster Meeting/Chaperone Meeting

Good morning everyone,

On Monday, January 16, 7:00 pm, we will be having our first Band Booster Meeting of the new year.  We hope you can make it.  We are going to try and keep it to 30 minutes because I need to have a HAWAII TRIP CHAPERONE MEETING at approximately 7:30 pm to discuss chaperone duties and dividing up the students.  I am sorry for this late notice but it is very important we meet after the booster club meeting.

Double-check trip information

Aloha everyone,

I need your help with one final “proof reading’.  Please go to the top of this website and click on the link Hawaii 2012 at the top of the home page.  The third link down you will see another link with Full name, birthdates, and room choice.  Please open that up and find your name, your kids’ name, or anyone else you are associated with on the Hawaii trip.  Please check my spelling of your full legal name, and make sure your birthdate is correct.  The names are listed by Chaperone Group, then female students, then male students, then spectators.  My room number code will mean nothing to you.  It just assigns a room number for me to work with NOT THE ONE AT THE HOTEL.  Whoever your roomates are should have the same room number.  IF THERE IS A MISTAKE PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY.  I MUST HAVE CHANGES MADE BY 11:00 AM ON FRIDAY!!!! I’ve already made a few but double check me anyway.

ADULTS-your room cost is different than the students.  To “lessen the pain” I would recommend you divide up the remaining 4 payments and spread out your extra cost so it does not all hit you in April.  THE FULL BALANCE FOR EVERYONE IS DUE ON/BY THE APRIL PAYMENT.

EVERYONE-should also be setting back some extra money for your one checked piece of luggage and the meals you are responsible for.  When I flew last summer I paid and extra $50 for my checked piece of luggage.  I will be getting out costs for parasailing and snorkeling soon to everyone as well as other “free time” adventures.  I should also have our FLIGHT SCHEDULE by mid to late January as well as final confirmation on our hotel(s).   More info will follow once our airline is confirmed.

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR NAME, BIRTHDATE AND ROOM CHOICE.  I make mistakes (I’m human sometimes) and must get this information correct.
